COME AND GATHER GREEN IDEAS FOR CREATING YOUR OWN URBAN VEGETABLE GARDEN

The warmer weather is on its way, and with it the desire to get out on the terrace and enjoy spring. ☀️

So Woluwe Shopping is giving you the incentive to roll up your sleeves and bring your terraces, balconies, courtyards and gardens to life, with the CITY GARDEN event taking place in our gallery from Wednesday 12 to Saturday 15 March.

Everything is staged to inspire you.

In a real vegetable garden, you’ll discover:

– what to sow to create your herb garden,

– how to grow the vegetables, tomatoes, salads that will thrive in small spaces,

– which seeds are ideal for growing in an urban environment,

– And you’ll be able to buy seeds, vegetable bulbs, transplants, tools and advice to help you take your first steps as an urban gardener.

What’s more, on Wednesday 12 and Saturday 15 March from 2pm to 7pm, children will be able to show off their green thumbs in workshops. The aim of these workshops is to teach them about gardening. What is a seed? How does it become a vegetable, flower or herb? Children will go home with a bucket to sow and a packet of seeds to continue the adventure at home.
