VENICE UNMASKS TO INTRODUCE CHILDREN TO ITS CARNIVAL MYSTERIES

With Carnival in full swing in the City of the Doges, Woluwe Shopping is inviting curious little ones to unveil one of its special features – masks – with the VENETIAN MASQUERADE event, running from Monday 3 to Saturday 8 March.

Through creative workshops, children will discover what these masks are made of and how they are made. Little hands are invited to express themselves at these mask workshops, which will be open from Tuesday 4 March to Saturday 8 March from 2pm to 6pm, and are open to all children aged 3 to 12, who will go home with their own mask designed ‘in the style of the Venice Carnival’.

You and your family can also immerse yourselves in the magic of this mystery, in the heart of our Shopping Center, during this week.

You’ll be able to admire costumes inspired by the costumes of the Venice Carnival, as well as a variety of flamboyant masks.

On Saturday, you’ll be treated to 3 parades featuring dancers and stilt walkers dressed in authentic Venetian costumes.

Don’t miss them at 2pm, 3.30pm and 5pm.
